Focus Session Data

We collect and store information about your focus sessions to provide core app functionality and improve your experience:

• Session duration and completion status
• Session start and end times
• Session types (Quick Hit, Standard, Beast Mode)
• Rank progression and streak data
• Focus categories selected (Deep Work, Coding, etc.)
• Exit survey responses (when you quit a session)

Device Information

We automatically collect certain device information to ensure app compatibility and performance:

• Device type and model
• Operating system version
• App version number
• Device language and region settings

Analytics Data

We collect usage analytics to improve app performance and user experience:

• App usage patterns and feature interactions
• Crash reports and error logs
• Performance metrics (load times, responsiveness)
• Aggregated statistics about session completion rates

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Core Functionality: To provide timer functionality, track your progress, and maintain your rank and streak data

Data Storage and Security

Your focus session data is stored locally on your device and may be backed up to iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) if you have device backup enabled.

Analytics and crash data is transmitted securely to our analytics providers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Data Sharing

Children's Privacy

LockIn is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

If you are using LockIn from outside the United States, please note that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

California Privacy Rights

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request disclosure of data collection and the right to request deletion of personal information.

This privacy policy is compliant with Apple App Store and Google Play Store requirements as of the last updated date.
